The thing about Texans is that when they get thrown off a horse, they tend to get right back on again. Ten years ago, Texas was thrown hard by back-to-back oil industry woes, real estate crashes and a savings and loan crisis that had the big business state suddenly setting big bankruptcy records. One decade later, Texas is setting new records in job growth, filling up its office buildings and industrial parks and building more.
