IJMC Who Really Won?

                        IJMC - Who Really Won?

Oi. Another day, another application goes on the linux box. Or at least
that's how it feels. Now that the site runs fairly well, it is time to
start analyzing the results. So...after fixing ht://Dig (it is kind of
embarrassing to have the favored search engine go offline...) it was time
to get a stats program working. And it works (mostly, but I won't go into
that) so I'm happy. But I'm tired, so bring a friend by the web site
tomorrow and show them the marvellous subscription options <nudge><nudge>
to aid them in the acquisition of junk mail. <grin> -dave

During the heat of the space race in the 1960's, the U.S. National
Aeronautics and Space Administration decided it needed a ball point pen
to write in the zero gravity confines of its space capsules.

After considerable research and development, the Astronaut Pen was
developed at a cost of $1 million. The pen worked and also enjoyed some
modest success as a novelty item back here on earth.

The Soviet Union, faced with the same problem, used a pencil.
